So why does freshly roasted coffee cost so much? It's not just about the beans. Most of the costs come from running the business: keeping coffee fresh, preventing waste, and attracting new customers to maintain quality.
For many roasteries with physical stores, up to 45% of the price goes toward rent or distributor fees. For online businesses like ours, advertising costs alone accounts for 50% for each bag of coffee to a new customer.
These costs arenât directly tied to the coffee itselfâthey're simply the price of running a coffee business in Singapore.

All our functions for cancellation are self-service within the dashboard, you can cancel even after your first purchase of coffee.
Will I receive a notification before my subscription renews?
Yes, you will always receive a notification always before your plan renews.
Can I have a coffee subscription plan with CLC?
Unfortunately not yet, as payment processor fees are also a huge bulk of the cost involved. We pay up to $1.2 for each 240g order via processed via credit cards.
We only accept PayNow payments for your coffee orders for CLC pricing.
No, CLC membership is non-refundable to prevent abuse of our programme as we are still charged the payment processing fees after refund.
Does CLC include shipping?
No, CLC membership does not include free shipping but you can easily save on the fees by checking out your 4 coffees in one shipping!
Why is there an activation fee for monthly plans?
It's a one-time fee to prevent any repeated abuse of the CLC plan.
Subscribing and then unsubscribing hurts our business and isn't fair to other customers.
This fee is waived on our annual plan!
