Drip bag coffee has emerged as a popular choice for coffee lovers seeking convenience without compromising on quality. Portable, easy-to-use, and capable of producing a delightful cup of coffee, drip bags bring the coffeehouse experience directly to you, wherever you are. Here's how you can master the art of making coffee using a drip bag.
Drip bag coffee combines the quality of specialty coffee with the convenience of instant coffee. Each bag contains pre-ground coffee, and the unique design allows you to brew a fresh cup directly into your mug.
Take out your drip bag coffee sachet. These bags are often sealed for freshness, so you'll need to tear or cut along the indicated line to open it.
Unfold the flaps of the drip bag and place them on the edges of your mug. Ensure the bag is secure and stable. The coffee grounds should be sitting in the bag, suspended over your cup.
Begin pouring hot water (ideally around 90-96 degrees Celsius) over the coffee grounds. Do this slowly, starting with just enough water to wet the grounds (about 30-40 milliliters) and wait for about 30 seconds.
This process, known as "blooming," allows coffee that is too fresh to de-gas, leading to a better extraction of flavors.
If the coffee does not "de-gas", it is okay as well as this method is just to remove the excess carbon-dioxide from very fresh coffee, it does not mean your coffee is stale because we do degas coffee for a week before brewing even at cafes.
If you are making milk coffee, simply substitute the hot water with warm milk.
You can microwave your milk to warm it up but be careful not too scorch it. A good indicator is it that the milk should be warmed right to the point where you cannot withstand the temperature with your bare hands. ( Around 60-75 degree celsius which is the right temperature for milk pouring )
Continue to slowly pour hot water/milk into the bag until you reach your desired coffee volume. It's important to maintain a slow and steady pour to ensure all the coffee grounds are evenly extracted.
Once you've finished brewing, carefully remove the drip bag from your mug. Be cautious of any drips! Dispose of the bag in an environmentally friendly manner.
Now it's time for the best part - enjoying your freshly brewed drip bag coffee. The coffee should be aromatic, clean, and rich in flavor. You can also add ice if you prefer a refreshing cup of coffee!

Updated review on 18/4: The support team has reached promptly to explain the delayed shipment. Mentioned that my shipment was delayed because I placed an order after their roasting date, which I find the explanation satisfactory. And I received my subscription of coffee yesterday. It tasted great. Excellent service recovery team Yasumi 👌 Earlier review on 14/4: My subscription is due for renewal in 1 day but my earlier order hasn't been received despite placing an order 1 week ago. I don't like to be charged for a renewal product when my earlier product hasn't been shipped out and received. I will consider changing my review when the management looks into this. I have cancelled my earlier subscription.

I bought their 250ml morning cup a few months ago. It is not worth the price. When it arrived, I could tell the quality wasn’t great. Coffee stains cannot be washed off or removed, and it looks terrible just after 1 month of usage. I’m very disappointed with the product.

I do really love the YASUMI Coffee! It brings much much convenient for me, I have an espresso machine at home, so I could make a great cup of coffee everyday. Fresh grind the whole bean, fresh brew the double shot, fresh steam the milk, and then, a fresh cup of specialty coffee. I ordered a trial subscription. The package came fast and the beans were well packed (despite being unregistered mail). The additional 60g X'mas sample was a nice surprise as it was meant to be a 120g trial and I actually really liked it. Usually do pourover or espresso at home with a hand grinder.
I ordered a trial size of Brazilian coffee beans, and it arrived the day after roasting along with 60g of Tropic Daydream. Surprisingly, I found that I liked the Tropic Daydream even more! The whole beans were incredibly fresh and fragrant even before grinding. When I tried an espresso with oat milk, it tasted just like a latte from a cafe, but at only half the price and with 100% freshness. Today, experimenting with a coarser grind resulted in a lighter coffee taste. The convenience of the coffee beans subscription is a bonus; I can enjoy different beans every 6 weeks, and refills come directly to my house.
